Herroepingsrecht
Bij Absinthe Lights kan u een product binnen de dertig dagen na ontvangst van het product, ruilen of retourneren zonder boete en zonder opgave van motief, volgens het Europese herroepingsrecht. Dit recht is enkel van toepassing op bestelling binnen de Europese Unie (+ IJsland, Liechtenstein en Noorwegen).
Voordat u een product retour zendt, kan het handig zijn dit eerst even op mail te zetten voor onze klantenservice. U krijgt dan een retourdocument doorgestuurd en zo kan de afhandeling, wanneer de retour aankomt in ons magazijn, sneller plaatsvinden.
Voorwaarden
Een artikel wordt enkel en alleen retour aanvaard als het voldoet aan al onze retourvoorwaarden. Elke afwijking hiervan kan een weigering van de retour tot gevolg hebben:
- De producten dienen compleet (inclusief alle accessoires, handleidingen en documentatie) te zijn.
- Producten dienen onbeschadigd en in de originele (onbeschadigde) verpakking te zitten. Producten mogen geen sporen van gebruik vertonen, ze mogen enkel bekeken worden zoals dit in een fysieke winkel zou gebeuren. Als u de producten toch installeert of in gebruik neemt, betekent dit dat u de producten aanvaardt.
- De originele verpakking dient zich steeds in minimum één buitenverpakking te bevinden.
- De originele verpakking mag niet op eender welke manier besmeurd zijn (bijvoorbeeld door labels, stickers, beschadigingen, opschriften, e.d.).
- Wanneer u uw retourdocument hebt ontvangen, heeft u 14 kalenderdagen de tijd om uw retourzending aan ons te bezorgen.
Uitzonderingen
- Het herroepingsrecht geldt niet voor producten op maat gemaakt voor de klant, maatwerk of op producten die duidelijk voor een specifieke persoon bestemd zijn. Afgemeten kabels bijvoorbeeld worden niet als retour aanvaard, kabels met een standaardafmeting (bv. 100 meter) kunnen wel geretourneerd worden.
- Het herroepingsrecht geldt niet voor artikelen die gebruikt, beschadigd of niet volledig zijn.
- Het Europese herroepingsrecht geldt niet voor zakelijke klanten (i.e. klanten met een bedrijfsnaam en/of BTW-nummer).
- Het Europese herroepingsrecht geldt uitsluitend voor bestellingen geleverd in de 28 EU-lidstaten + IJsland, Liechtenstein en Noorwegen.
Wijze van herroepen en terugsturen
Volg onderstaande stappen indien u uw bestelling wenst te herroepen en terug te sturen.

Laat ons via het standaardformulier of via e-mail weten dat u uw aangekochte product wenst terug te sturen, en dit binnen de 30 dagen na ontvangst van uw bestelde product.
Vermeld steeds uw klantnummer, factuurnummer en de producten die u wenst te retourneren.
Wanneer u uw retourdocument hebt ontvangen, heeft u 14 kalenderdagen de tijd om uw retourzending aan ons te bezorgen.
Het vermelden van de reden van retour is dus niet verplicht maar kan wel nuttig zijn voor ons om onze service te verbeteren.

Indien het product verloren gaat en/of beschadigd wordt tijdens de retourzending, is dit dus op uw verantwoordelijkheid en kan Absinthe Lights niet aansprakelijk worden gesteld.
Indien u een retourzending doet van buiten de Europese Unie, gelieve dan steeds een officiële koerierdienst (bijvoorbeeld DPD, TNT, DHL,…) te gebruiken, gebruik nooit een postbedrijf. Indien u toch gebruikmaakt van een postbedrijf, zal u zelf verantwoordelijk gehouden worden voor alle douaneformaliteiten.
Als de retourzending aankomt in ons magazijn, gaan wij z.s.m. na of het product voldoet aan de retourvoorwaarden en stellen u van onze beslissing op de hoogte via mail. Indien het product voldoen aan de retourvoorwaarden zullen wij het volledige orderbedrag crediteren op uw account.
Let op: wij zullen u enkel de betaalde prijs en de verzendingskosten om het product aan u te bezorgen - indien deze er waren - terugbetalen. De verzendingskosten om het product te retourneren zijn steeds voor uw rekening.
Indien het product in beperkte mate afwijkt van onze retourvoorwaarden (i.e. indien het product nog geschikt is voor wederverkoop), kan de retour wel aanvaard worden. Echter kunnen er u in dit geval kosten voor waardevermindering aangerekend worden.
Indien het product niet aan de retourvoorwaarden voldoet, blijft het uw eigendom en dient u het binnen de 14 kalenderdagen terug af te halen. Indien gewenst kunnen wij in dit geval het product, op uw kosten, terugsturen met een transportfirma. Indien de geweigerde retour na 14 kalenderdagen nog steeds in ons magazijn staat, zal u via mail op de hoogte worden gebracht dat het product niet meer onze verantwoordelijkheid is. Vanaf dan kunnen er u opslagkosten aangerekend worden.

At Absinthe Lights, you can exchange or return a product within thirty days of receiving it, without penalty and without giving a reason, in accordance with European withdrawal rights. This right only applies to orders within the European Union (+ Iceland, Liechtenstein, and Norway).
Before returning a product, it may be helpful to email our customer service first. You will then receive a return document, which can speed up the process when the return arrives at our warehouse.
Conditions
A product will only be accepted for return if it meets all of our return conditions. Any deviation from these conditions may result in the return being refused:
- Products must be complete (including all accessories, manuals, and documentation).
- Products must be undamaged and in their original (undamaged) packaging. Products may not show signs of use; they may only be inspected as would be done in a physical store. If you install or use the products, this means you accept the products.
- The original packaging must always be placed in at least one outer packaging.
- The original packaging must not be soiled in any way (e.g., with labels, stickers, damage, inscriptions, etc.).
- Once you have received your return document, you have 14 calendar days to send your return to us.
Exceptions
- The right of withdrawal does not apply to products custom-made for the customer, custom work, or products clearly intended for a specific person. For example, cut-to-length cables are not accepted as returns, but cables with a standard length (e.g., 100 meters) can be returned.
- The right of withdrawal does not apply to items that are used, damaged, or incomplete.
- The European right of withdrawal does not apply to business customers (i.e., customers with a company name and/or VAT number).
- The European right of withdrawal only applies to orders delivered in the 28 EU member states + Iceland, Liechtenstein, and Norway.
How to withdraw and return
Follow the steps below if you wish to withdraw from your purchase and return your order:

Notify us via the standard form or email that you wish to return your purchased product, within 30 days of receiving your ordered product.
Always include your customer number, invoice number, and the products you wish to return.
Once you have received your return document, you have 14 calendar days to send your return to us.
Providing a reason for the return is not mandatory but can be helpful for us to improve our service.

If the product is lost and/or damaged during the return shipment, this is your responsibility, and Absinthe Lights cannot be held liable.
If you are returning a product from outside the European Union, always use an official courier service (e.g., DPD, TNT, DHL, etc.) and never a postal service. If you use a postal service, you will be held responsible for all customs formalities.
Once the return shipment arrives at our warehouse, we will check as soon as possible whether the product meets the return conditions and notify you of our decision via email. If the product meets the return conditions, we will credit the full order amount to your account. Please note: we will only refund the price you paid and any shipping costs incurred to deliver the product to you (if applicable). The shipping costs for returning the product are always your responsibility.
If the product deviates slightly from our return conditions (i.e., if the product is still suitable for resale), the return may still be accepted. However, in this case, you may be charged a depreciation fee.
If the product does not meet the return conditions, it remains your property, and you must collect it within 14 calendar days. If desired, we can return the product to you at your expense using a transport company. If the rejected return remains in our warehouse for more than 14 calendar days, you will be notified via email that the product is no longer our responsibility. From that point on, storage costs may be charged.
