What is the difference between Left and Right?

Since a 3-phase track is asymmetrical (featuring a specific earth ridge on one side), choosing the correct power supply is essential. The difference between the Left and Right variants is determined by the side where the earth conductor runs within the track:

• Left Power Supply: Used when the power feed is at the end of the track where the earth conductor is on the left side (viewed from the starting point).
• Right Power Supply: Used when the power feed is at the end where the earth conductor is on the right side.

By selecting the correct variant, the power supply aligns perfectly with the internal copper conductors of the track without interrupting polarity. This ensures a safe installation and a clean visual finish, with the power supply sitting directly in line with the track profile.
